Hey everyone. I was searching the web and found this site, which I found so amazing considering I am a Casamassima. I wanted to see how many others there are out there. Any connections?

grandpa tomas pellgrino and granmother della santora came from bari, moved to brooklyn new york, early 1900's. i am proud being Italian!!!!!!!!!!!

My grandfather came from Bari in the early 1900's settled in NY and finally in NJ. Married Filopmina Mangone from Naples.

First of all, in regards to my last name...it's my Mother's fault!

My Great-Grandfather, Vito P. Casamassima, came to the US in the early 1900's and settled in Seneca Falls, NY.

I unfortunately do not know if he lived in Casamassima, but I plan to find out more soon.

I will be travelling to Europe on business, and plan to visit Casamassima in the first week in April this year!

My grandfather, Frank R Albrizio, came from Bari in 1913 to Worcester, Mass. USA, where he married and established a family. I often wonder about his life in Bari before coming here to the US, and what the circumstances were that made him leave Italy to go to the US. I would love to hear from folks in Bari who might share some history, culture, folklore with me. I am second generation US born, 40 years old.

my father Nunziato Nitti was born in your beautiful town. he came to England as a war prisoner ,and was put to work on a farm where he met and fell in love with my mother.they had 4 children.CHRISTINE MARIA PETER & MICHAEL. Sad to say he died this year agad 84.WE still have family in Casamassima,and an aunt in Milano.I have only been able to come to Casamassima twice,but hope tocome again to see my italian family,of whom i think of very dearly.thank you for the use of your exellent web site.Salute

My father was born in Casamassima and I have visited my family my cousin the Pastore family. I am looking for Luna's email.

I have been to Casamassima a number of times and I love it there. I have a large extended family that still live there and I miss them and the town very much! My parents are going back in september for 6 weeks and I am very jealous! i cant wait to go back!

Excellent and refreshing information of this beautiful area of Puglia. I was born in this town. Still have family in Casamassima. It's worth the trip.
